Recent advances in Semiconductor LED technology, coupled with improved controllers have allowed SSP to deliver a massive improvement in the performance of SOLUS products. Typically the performance (light output or burn time) is improved over earlier models by a factor of 2.5.
Other changes implemented in the Gen2 SOLUS products include improved chargers and plug-in through case charging to replace the earlier charging bases.
